67 inches long

So I called home this morning to see how little britches was doing and Daddy told me that she is acting like she was 67 inches long. She sure is changing. Totally makes my ife complete. I love it when I come home at night and she smiles this great big smile. I great big heart my sweety.

tonight is Bunco at Nancy's. I really hope I will win something. It is always fun to get together with family and friends.

this weekend Derald and Roger are going racing so it will just be me and little girl. It has been a while since I had her all to myself. I think we may do some crafting, just me and her. She may get to try come finger painting at home. She has done it at school but never at home.

My mom is doing really well. She is getting more active each day. I remember 2 Sundays ago, she called me crying that she could not get up out of her chair. When I left her house the night before I locked the door behind me and I didn't have a key to get into the house so she had to call Uncle Jim and hehad to come over and get her up. If she sits too long in one position her muscles really hurt. But it is getting easier on her. Heck this past Sunday she got ready all by herself and even drove herself to church on her own. Go Mom.

Well, we survived the wedding. We were so proud of Alicen. She did let out a big hoop and a hollar but would you believe it was exactly when the preacher said something funny. My llittle angel is simply amazing. After the wedding we went to Wal-Mart and stocked up on some things she jabbered the whole time we were in there. Like I said amazing.

A weekend and a wedding

Well folks, it is finally Friday. Alicen will attend her first wedding tomorrow. Derald's friend Roger and Rachelle are getting married. I hope the music isn't too loud because we all know what loud music does to our little turkey toes.

Alicen finally got her replacement piece for her wheel chair. It is called a 4 point harness. I ordered this piece about 2 months ago but with all the confusion with our insurance ending and all that it took longer but they delivered it today. So now I an rest assured that she is totally safe riding in the van.

Our slack time at work is over. The school supply program starts this coming Monday. Although this is my favorite program I am sorta getting used to this slow time.

Birt Day Dirl

Happy Birthday to my little angel baby. I am so 100% proud of Alicen. She has overcome so many things in her life and they all make her even more special. We really don't have anything special planned because it is a week day. Daddy is going to take her to the park if it doesn't get too hot today. The park in Sullivan has a swing specifically for children who are disabled and can't use the regular swings. Have fun little girl, Mommy loves you so so so much.

Well, we finally did it. Alicen is receiving Social Security. Well, she will receive it after all the red tape and all that. We had the appointment Friday morning. It is funny that we have to prove her disability when a person can just look at her and see that she is disabled. They are going back to July 2004 for when her diability started. Praise God. He definately is awesome.

medical card and SS

Well here we are agin. I am in the process of filling out the mountains and mountains that are required to get Alicen the medical Card and to apply for Social Security. We have an appointment this Friday at 9 in the morning in Decatur. Please pray that all goes well.
